The campus was already buzzing with excitement and music despite the gentle morning sun. Another day of practicing Giddha — another day of rhythm, laughter, and a little mayhem. Every dhol beat serves as a reminder of why I enjoy participating in this tradition as the One India event draws near.
The energy in the room was palpable as soon as we walked into the rehearsal space. Bangles clinking, dupattas flying, and everyone attempting to perfect those moves—it's more than just dance; it's emotion. We take endless mirror selfies, share snacks, and taunt one another in between steps. All of our fatigue vanishes as soon as the room reverberates with the sound of "haan ve!"💫 Another Day of University Giddha Practice: One India Vibes

It's a unique experience to practice under the university lights with friends who are more like family. We can't help but smile even when our legs hurt and the teachers yell, "One more time," because we know deep down that these moments will be cherished memories for a lifetime.
We continue to hum the Giddha song as we make our way back across campus as the evening light fades, discussing costumes and preparing for our upcoming practice. One India is a sense of unity, culture, and pride rather than just an occasion. And every clap and spin in Giddha feels like a celebration of that spirit, in my opinion. 💛✨
